About MindWell

Helping People Thrive Without Sacrificing Wellbeing.

MindWell was created from a simple belief: people perform at their best when wellbeing and performance work together- not against each other. Our purpose is to help individuals, leaders and organisations build sustainable performance through evidence-informed coaching, practical workplace learning and meaningful conversations.

Our mission

To help individuals, leaders and organisations build sustainable performance through evidence-informed coaching, practical workplace learning and meaningful conversations – with no quick fixes, only lasting progress.

Looking to the future

Our ambition is to build MindWell into one of the UK’s most trusted evidence-informed coaching and workplace learning organisations – guided always by professionalism, curiosity, integrity and trust.

Founder story

Meet Stephen Williams

I’m Stephen Williams, founder of MindWell. My journey into coaching and wellbeing wasn’t planned -it developed through my own life experiences, a genuine desire to help others and a commitment to continual learning and professional development.

Over the years, I’ve developed my professional practice through coaching, counselling training, continued professional development and the ongoing study of evidence-informed approaches to wellbeing, human performance and behaviour. My approach is grounded in person-centred values – I believe every individual has the capacity to grow when they feel heard, understood and supported. My role isn’t to tell people what to think; it’s to help them think more clearly and make confident, informed decisions about what comes next.

Why I Created MindWell

Throughout my own journey and professional development, I came to recognise something important: many people don’t lack potential – they lack the space, support and confidence to think clearly about what comes next. The same is true within organisations, where leaders and teams are often expected to perform at a high level while navigating constant change and competing priorities.

I created MindWell to offer a different approach – one that combines trusted evidence, practical learning and meaningful conversations to help people and organisations create sustainable progress, so people can move forward with greater clarity, confidence and purpose while organisations build environments where people can perform well without sacrificing their wellbeing.

Why evidence matters
There is no shortage of opinions when it comes to wellbeing, leadership and performance. MindWell takes a different approach: every programme begins with trusted evidence, recognised guidance and continuous professional learning, then is translated into practical tools and meaningful coaching conversations. Where evidence is still developing, we'll always be honest about that - transparency builds trust, and trust is the foundation of everything we do.

The MindWell Philosophy

Everything we do is guided by five core principles.

Evidence Before Opinion

We build our programmes using trusted research, recognised workplace guidance and continuous professional learning.

People Before Programmes

Every individual and every organisation is different. Our approach is always person-led and tailored.

Progress Before Perfection

Lasting change comes from consistent action rather than unrealistic expectations.

Curiosity Before Certainty

We ask questions, encourage reflection and continue learning.

Trust Before Growth

We would rather build long-term relationships than make promises we cannot support.

Our Commitment

Whether you’re looking for one-to-one coaching or workplace learning, you can expect the same commitment from MindWell.

Listen before we advise.

Build trust through honesty and transparency.

Deliver evidence-informed learning.

Focus on practical action rather than theory alone.

Respect every individual’s unique circumstances.

Continually review and improve our programmes.
Our aim isn’t simply to deliver coaching or training. Our aim is to help people leave every conversation feeling more confident, better informed and better equipped to move forward.

Looking to the future

My ambition is to build MindWell into one of the UK’s most trusted evidence-informed coaching and workplace learning organisations. As the business grows, every programme, resource and partnership will continue to be guided by the same values that inspired MindWell from the beginning: professionalism, curiosity, integrity and trust.
